Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on e-commerce cyber fraud threats and countermeasures
  • Provide strategic guidance on cyber fraud prevention policies and procedures
  • Advise cross-functional teams on implementing fraud prevention strategies
  • Conduct cyber fraud threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities
  • Integrate applications into fraud monitoring systems
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber fraud incidents using tools and analytics
  • Identify opportunities to enhance fraud detection capabilities
  • Develop and maintain playbooks for fraud detection and incident response
  • Lead containment and resolution of cyber fraud incidents
  • Perform data analytics to uncover suspected fraud
  • Conduct deep analysis to draw conclusions on fraud events
  • Communicate incident updates and findings to management
  • Analyze root causes and systemic issues related to fraud
  • Investigate tactics and techniques used by fraud actors
  • Stay current with relevant cyber threat intelligence
  • Report periodically on the fraud posture of e-commerce environments

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cyber fraud or cybersecurity operations within an e-commerce environment
  • Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and fraud prevention strategies
  • Experience tuning and optimizing fraud detection platforms
  • Strong understanding of adversarial techniques used in cyber fraud
  • Working knowledge of threat modeling methodologies (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA)
  • Experience with fraud data analysis using tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Familiarity with digital investigations, data management, and scripting tools
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain incident response playbooks
  • Hands-on experience with cyber fraud threat intelligence
  • Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, or related field
